Please note: The majority of the lessons are designed with online learning in mind, due to the current circumstances. They are easily adapted however, to work when practical lessons are back up and running!
If the formatting is off when you download it, this may be due to my font choice, I apologise in advance (Century Gothic).
Any questions please ask me :)
Some of the lessons contain more than one file - if you get stuck with sorting them out, please do contact me. I have tried to name them logically!
This is one of a series of worksheets and factsheets I have created relating to Sneaker Collaborations.
Each worksheet & factsheet set will be uploaded and available individually, and I will also offer it as a bundle (which would make a great project in Art / Design Technology / Fashion / Graphic Design).
The sheets introduce lesser-known artists and designers, and feature on-trend sneaker styles.
These sheets would be great either as a project, cover work, homework tasks, or self-directed tasks! The possibilities are endless!
The worksheet combinations include:
Artists X Sneakers
Designers X Sneakers
Rappers X Sneakers
Brands X Sneakers > THIS RESOURCE
Extension Tasks
Feel free to ask me any questions.
I have started to create my own resources for Unit 01. As I create the lessons, I will upload them individually. Once I have a full Learning Objective uploaded, I will create a bundle!
PLEASE NOTE: The Food & Nutrition resources were all designed in the 2020-21 academic year when I taught this subject. I have since left the role and have not been back and checked for any links that no longer work.
This resource is from LO2: Understand how hospitality and catering provisions operate

KS3 lesson on types of wood
Written to start to incorporate the new Design & Technology GCSE framework into KS3 learning
PowerPoint includes worksheets to be printed. When I delivered this lesson I found it useful to get the learners working in small groups (on tables that were strategically arranged to mix SEN, behavioural and higher ability learners).
Feel free to ask me any questions!
I created these slips for learners on my course to demonstrate how they have embedded literacy and/or numeracy into their graphic design
This is a big push within young offender learning and it helps the learners to understand the relevance of core subjects within pathways and the real world
Happy to edit the PDF for other subject areas - please just contact me!
A series of worksheets I have produced to develop learner knowledge of the influences and contexts surrounding the creation of graphic design and art. These were designed to meet part of the assessment criteria for Unit 02 of the NCFE Level 1 Award in Graphic Design, however they would suit mainstream KS3 and KS4 as homework, cover lesson worksheets or starters.
Feel free to ask any questions.
A series of displays I created for my classroom
Colour theories, Pantone and Swiss Design
I use these in my young offender Graphic Design classroom but they would work in any creative environment
A series of worksheets (all in one PDF) created to develop learner understanding of colour theory and colour schemes.
The worksheets have been designed for use in a young offender institute, and so the subject is aimed at teenage boys.
These would work as a cover lesson, homework or taught lesson activity.
Feel free to ask any questions.
A series of GCSE Textiles Technology worksheets that I created to support a year 11 class with their revision in the lead up to their exams.
I tried to make the worksheets very user friendly and used the AQA revision guide alongside the creation of them (a great book to encourage learners to read as they revise).
A PowerPoint I created for KS3 (year 7) Food & Nutrition.
Based around the Eat Well Guide and follows on to a healthy pasta salad recipe to make in the next lesson.
Also included: blank Eat Well Guide and Deli Salad Recipe plan - colour coded to help pupils relate it back to the guide.
Works really well with mixed ability groups and is a colourful lesson!
Feel free to ask me any questions
This is a series of pages I created to support learners on the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creative Media (Graphic Design), however the resources would be suitable for any creative subject that uses Typography.
They can be enlarged and displayed on the walls, or laminated and used as reference in learner folders / portfolios.
Please do contact me if you have any questions.
I created a huge number of Artist research factsheets during my PGCE. The information for these was all found on the internet (please note I have not reworded any, merely copied and pasted). The idea behind the factsheets was to have a bank of resources for reference, both for myself and for students.
I have printed all of these out and have them in separate folders (relating to style of art/design). I have made great use of them during my time teaching in a young offenders institute, and the learners like to select their own designers for inspiration to develop their ideas.
This bundle contains: Illustrators
I also will be uploading:
Photographers, Graphic Designers, 3D Artists, Street / Graffiti Artists, Conceptual Artists, Textiles Artists, Traditional and Modern Fine Artists and Installation Artists.
Feel free to contact me with any questions
This is a PowerPoint presentation I created for a job interview a while ago.
It is based on Perspective Drawing (one and two) and is Art & Design focused.
Feel free to ask any questions.
A very simple cover lesson I designed for KS3 classes to set as cover in D&T.
The theme of the lesson is logo designs and this self-explanatory sheet works well for non-specialist teachers.
Feel free to ask me any questions.
I created this PowerPoint and corresponding worksheets for a GCSE Year 9 class who were undertaking the new spec in Design Technology.
The resources relate to the textiles element of the specification
Feel free to contact me with any questions!
This is a worksheet I created when teaching KS3 Resistant Materials. The classes I taught were mixed ability and I have made this activity differentiatable as a result.
I delivered the activity by first discussing each piece of equipment with the class and showing them the physical object. You then have two options: cut and stick the definitions by pairing them up (used for EAL, SEN and lower ability) or by writing the definitions in the correct boxes.
This works well as a small group activity and as a competition!
Feel free to ask any questions.
This resource contains two documents I created for the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creative Media (Graphic Design) - Unit 08
I have laminated these resources for reference, however they would also work on display made larger
These resources will also be available in the bulk resource I will upload for Unit 08
Feel free to ask any questions

This is a PowerPoint I created for GCSE Graphic Products students in Year 11. The PowerPoint supports with the development and evaluation of the Controlled Assessment.
It can also be printed out for reference in class

These are a series of design movement influences sheets created for a unit of work that I am currently producing.
The unit of work is based around graphic illustration and the resources provide a series of design movements and explain how they have influenced illustration.
I will be laminating these for reference in class, however they would also work well on a display board.
I will also include these in the full resource for the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creative Media (Graphic Design) - Unit 08
Feel free to ask me any questions!
